About Me

Hi, I’m Nancy. Welcome to my blog. I was born and raised on the East Coast; a place I continue to call home (for now) with my husband, cat, and Hungarian Vizsla that keeps us on our toes.

I have a BA in English and Education and have been teaching high school English for the past eighteen years in the town where I grew up. While teaching is definitely a vocation for me, my thoughts are consumed by food and travel. That’s why I am excited to have a place where I can share my experiences of hiking through gorgeous scenery, mountain biking incredible single-track, shopping in quaint towns, and finding the delicious places to eat.

Recently my husband and I embarked on a entirely new journey: we purchases a 17-foot Escape travel trailer. I never imagined that I would love the RV life as much as I do. While I still enjoy an occasional weekend at a romantic bed and breakfast or a getaway to a boutique hotel, RVing definitely has its advantages.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I hope you enjoy my stories. May they inspire you to get out there and explore this amazing world.
